The Facilities Design and Construction Department is dedicated to creating and maintaining safe, functional, and inspiring learning environments for our students, staff, and community. We strive to ensure that all school facilities meet the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and accessibility.

During the Design process our department:

• Determines Need: Collaborating with school administrators, teachers, and community members to identify facility needs and priorities.
• Supervises Design Development: Working with architects and engineers to create detailed plans that reflect the educational goals and requirements of the school.
• Ensure Compliance: All designs meet local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and accessibility standards.

During the Construction process our department:

• Provides Project Oversight: Managing construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Coordinates with Contractors: Selecting and supervising contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed to the highest standards.
• Ensures Safety Monitoring: Implementing safety protocols to protect students, staff, and workers during construction activities.

Our department is committed to sustainable practices, including Green Building and pursuing certifications such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) to ensure environmentally responsible construction.
