The Infrastructure Team at the Osceola County School District plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of the district's technological framework. This dedicated team manages and maintains both the wired and wireless network infrastructure across all schools and administrative buildings within the district. Their responsibilities include overseeing internet connectivity and monitoring bandwidth to ensure that the district can meet the current demands of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives, digital learning environments, computer-based testing, and assessments.

In addition to these tasks, the Infrastructure Team is proactive in preparing for future technological needs, ensuring that the district remains ahead of the curve in terms of capacity and capability. They are also tasked with maintaining and monitoring network security, implementing measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. This includes regular updates and patches to the network systems, as well as continuous monitoring for potential security threats.

Furthermore, the team collaborates closely with other departments to support various educational and administrative functions, ensuring that technology enhances the learning experience and operational efficiency. Their work is integral to the district's mission of providing a technology-rich environment that supports lifelong learning for all students
