There are many careers (especially in the trades) that do not require an education outside of high school before launching your career. Students can land full-time careers and apprenticeships right out of high school that come with benefits, including paid training.
Students planning to apply for full-time employment after high school graduation should:
CTE coursework and certifications offered from 6th through 12th grade help students achieve this goal. CTE programs in our schools include courses related to business, construction, healthcare, and more. Students also have the opportunity to dual enroll at Osceola Technical College to earn their career certificate upon graduating from high school. (Meet with your School Counselor to learn more!)

Students in 6th through 12th grade can select “Opportunities” right from their Xello dashboard to explore local service opportunities in volunteering, local college & career events, internships, apprenticeships, and more.
Students in 6th through 12th grade can search for careers using the search bar OR by starting with Matchmaker.
Students in 6th through 12th grade can also dive deeper into understanding their career matches after taking Matchmaker.
Students can reset their Matchmaker results at any time.
