Great News!  Grants Management will once again coordinate our 3rd Annual SDOC Basket Brigade.  The event is scheduled for November 15, 2025 @ 9:00am at our new location at Transportation East (5702 Nova Road in St. Cloud).  This year we are excited to have partnered with The Boy Scouts of America and the Osceola County Fire Department.  With the generosity of the SDOC departments and schools, the goal is to donate 1,000 tailor made baskets of food for a Thanksgiving meal for SDOC students and families.  This year, 500 baskets will be filled with the donated food items from the Boy Scouts of America, and 500 baskets will be donated by SDOC.  We are inviting your department to be a part of this amazing act of kindness by filling Thanksgiving baskets with non-perishable food.

Beginning this week, Grants Management staff will deliver the baskets to the various departments as requested.  This year we are asking departments to please purchase a $10-$15 gift card for families to purchase a protein.  Please contact Lizette Robles at ext. 65361 or via email at Lizette.robles@osceolaschools.net with the number of baskets your department wants as well as your department contact name or if you would be interested in volunteering to deliver baskets.  An informational flyer will include a list of suggested items in every basket.
