About Me

Professional

As a result of the teachers who impacted Heather while attending school in Osceola, she became a teacher at Pleasant Hill Elementary School in Osceola County, where she was hired by her fourth grade teacher who was principal at that time. Heather taught for nearly ten years at Pleasant Hill Elementary before switching careers. Heather worked for a local marketing agency from 2014 through 2017 before returning to the Osceola School District to manage the social media as a member of the Community Relations Department. In 2021, Heather started her own marketing business in Kissimmee where she continues to provide marketing and consultation services for local small businesses in our community. 

Personal

As a lifelong Osceola resident, Heather lives in the heart of District 4 and enjoys living by the "live, work, play" mentality here in Kissimmee where she is raising three children who attend Osceola public schools. Heather is an active resident, community member, business owner, and leader. 

Education

Heather Kahoun was a student of the Osceola School District from kindergarten through high school, attending Mill Creek Elementary, Denn John Middle, and Osceola High. After graduation, Heather attended The University of South Florida where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
