District 5 - Paula Bronson

A

Paula Bronson is a proud lifelong resident of Osceola County with deep roots in the community. She grew up off Boggy Creek Road in Kissimmee and was among the first students to attend Boggy Creek Elementary when it opened in 1983. Paula was homeschooled by her mother during 6th and 7th grade, then continued her education at Neptune Middle School, where she was part of the school’s inaugural 8th-grade graduating class. A graduate of Osceola High School (Class of 1994), Paula went on to earn her Associate of Arts degree from Valencia Community College. She later earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Florida. After graduation, she immediately began her career as a full-time educator in Osceola County, dedicating herself to serving the students and families of her hometown.

With more than two decades of teaching experience in public, charter, and private schools, Paula brings a well-rounded and compassionate perspective to the School Board. Her career has provided her with a profound understanding of the diverse challenges within the education system, including the needs of students, the concerns of parents, and the daily realities faced by teachers and school staff.

Paula’s passion for education remains as strong as ever. She finds true joy in helping students build brighter futures and is committed to ensuring every child has access to a high-quality education. She believes in listening to the voices of families and educators and uses her classroom experience to help guide thoughtful, informed decisions.

Outside of her professional life, Paula enjoys road trips with her family, especially discovering “Old Florida” through nostalgic roadside attractions, citrus stands, and natural springs. She loves the history, charm, and quirkiness of these places. At home, she enjoys painting, watching documentaries, researching genealogy, and spending time outdoors. Paula is married and the proud mother of a college-aged son.

She is honored to serve on the School Board and remains deeply committed to the success of every student in Osceola County.
