Every day matters. Find the moments that shape the year — from Day One to the last bell.
As a Choice District, we allow parents to select the school they want their children to attend, as long as that school has capacity and program availability.
Each one of our public schools has a full-time sworn law enforcement officer serving as a School Resource Officer on campus every day.
Our students have highly-qualified, certified teachers who provide engaging, relevant, and rigorous instruction.
We offer a rigorous curriculum and systems of support, complete with college preparatory and career and technical education paths to meet the needs of every student.
Students have the opportunity to take high school credit courses in middle school and to earn college/postsecondary credit at no cost to parents while still in high school.
We offer courses that allow students to explore career interests, master workplace competencies, gain employable skills, and earn industry certifications and licensing upon graduation.
All Osceola schools have a 1:1 laptop/device program for students, and all students in the district have access to a host of free digital learning resources.
State-of-the-art classrooms and well-kept school grounds, well-stocked libraries, outstanding athletic facilities, clean cafeterias that serve nutritious meals, and auditoriums for our talented students meet high standards in the Osceola School District.
From choir to cheerleading, robotics clubs to student government, drama to drawing, strings to soccer, and everything in between, there’s truly something for everyone in the Osceola School District.

“I’m really proud to be a student at Poinciana High School. NJROTC has helped me prepare because it’s giving me leadership opportunities and to learn right from wrong. Whether it’s being respectful or knowing things, it gives me a chance to go to the military through a recruiter or I could submit a scholarship for college. It just opens many opportunities for me.” -Leeandra, Poinciana High Student
“STEM is preparing me for middle school by teaching me valuable skills such as problem solving, teamwork, and collaboration. I think I will need these skills in middle school. I love Chestnut because I like the people, the activities, and the clubs.” -Elijah, Student at Chestnut Elementary for Science Engineering
“My main focus as a teacher at Denn John is to make sure my students are valued, loved, cared for, and make sure they know that before academics take place. Because in order for academics to take place they first have to feel that value and feel validity in their feelings and know that they’re loved. We believe in the whole child, not just the academic standpoint so we’re really going to strive to make sure your child not only is successful not in the classroom, but also as they carry it outside the walls of our school.” -Kara Bailey, Teacher at Denn John Middle School
“I love the Discovery Lab. It’s super fun because I get to build robots and do some special stuff on the computers. It’s really entertaining and fun. My teachers always push me to go beyond my expectations and that really helps me.” -Nathaly, Student at Koa Elementary
“Tohopekaliga High School did an excellent job of preparing both of my kids for college. The variety of programs offered also gave them opportunities to explore interests in areas that they had never tried before. The school has a positive vibe that you can feel on campus and the staff took a genuine interest in the development and well-being of my children for which I am grateful.” -Phillip Lowry, Parent
“Along with great arts programs, we do have very passionate teachers that want to teach the kids. We have a lot of teachers here that have been here many years and I think this is a great environment for students to be. It's very important that from an early age, kids understand that theater, music, drama, and even art is all collaborative. We have to work together in order to create a wonderful product." -Yinelly Pastrana, Drama Teacher at Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts
"When we moved down here from Massachusetts, we weren't sure what the community was really going to look like. My son has absolutely thrived coming to Boggy Creek since transitioning to middle school. He's a straight-A student, and he's not afraid to advocate for himself, and that's one big thing here at Boggy Creek- the students’ voices really matter. " -Jessica Hughes, Parent & ESE Teacher
“They’ve taken great care of my son. First grade, give or take, he was diagnosed with ADHD, but there was more to it than just that. He’s on the low end of Autism so his reaction to certain things was not how you would expect somebody to react. He had such a hard time just paying attention. A lot of the teachers here have been more than accommodating for him. They’ve worked with him a lot more one on one where his focus is directed to the teacher. It's definitely reassuring that the staff is there for you and your kid.” Dante Gullotta, Mill Creek Elementary Parent
"I enjoy being a student at PATHS because of the excellent support they have given me to develop my skill, not only as a professional, but they also help me discover my passion and goals for the future. Whether it's at oTECH or Valencia, dual enrollment is a lot easier to accomplish because of the great encouragement and support from the teachers and counselors." -Renata, Pharmacy Technician Track Student at PATHS
