Community Resources

Explore a variety of organizations and initiatives dedicated to improving outcomes for children and students with disabilities. These resources provide specialized training, technical assistance, family support, transition planning, and educational services. From early childhood data systems and deafblind supports to low vision services, postsecondary transition resources, and statewide disability assistance networks, these programs help families, educators, and professionals ensure every learner has access to meaningful educational opportunities and the support needed to succeed.

 

Dasy: The Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems is a national technical assistance center that works with states to support IDEA early intervention and early childhood special education state programs.

FAVI DeafBlind Collaborative provides training and consultation services to the families, educators, professionals and teams serving children and young adults (birth through 21) with concurrent hearing loss and vision loss.

Florida Low Vision Initiative addresses the statewide critical shortage of students with visual impairments.

Project 10 focuses on the transition ages for students and postsecondary opportunities.

FIN collaborates with all districts, schools, and IDEA- funded state projects to provide customized services and supports ensuring all students with disabilities have the same educational, social, and future opportunities as their peers.

FDLRS the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS) is a statewide network of support for families, educators, and school districts, working together to help every child with a disability reach their full potential.
