Senior Spotlight
Our next “Senior Spotlight” is Maria from the Medical Assisting program through Osceola Technical College and PATHS. Maria has consistently demonstrated professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and lead others. She shows up each day with grace and determination, building both her clinical skills and her confidence in a healthcare setting.
Through her CTE pathway, Maria has developed the skills needed to take the next step toward her future in the medical field. She is currently preparing to continue her journey during her practicum at Nemours Children’s Health, where she will gain valuable real-world experience in patient care.
We are proud of Maria’s hard work and growth, and excited to see her continue to thrive in her healthcare career path.
Program Spotlight
Our next “Program Spotlight” is St. Cloud High’s Medical Assisting Program taught by Ms. Shannon Hudson. This program provides students with hands-on training and real-world skills needed for success in the healthcare field.
Pictured to the side are three students—Fabiola, Gigi, and Mia—who are all on track to graduate with their CNA Merit Diploma and plan to take their certification exam this summer. Through Ms. Hudson’s instruction, they have gained the knowledge and clinical skills needed to confidently enter the healthcare industry.
Ms. Hudson has built a strong and successful program where many students have earned their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, allowing them to immediately begin working in healthcare settings after graduation. Her program focuses on both technical skills and professionalism, preparing students for real-world patient care.
The Nursing Assistant program at St. Cloud High School continues to create strong pathways into the medical field, helping students turn their training into meaningful careers in healthcare.
